Omar and chico had one of the most real moments (on a very unrealistic) on the show here, especially Omar stabbing him. That was the realest and most true to life part of the show. Granted they condensed a thought process, dialog and reaction that would've been weeks of kites and cutouts... and they made it more public and obvious. However, the players, problem, proposition and answer are on point. But lemme break it down. Problem Convict wants a deed done on one of his own but needs distance, so you go outside your group. Players Approach a dude with a lot of time to do, a vet... can't be a fresh fish, with a want for something you can provide, preferably something other than drugs because addicts talk when they start kicking (withdraw) with means, opportunity and no other moral issue with violence for pay. The big thing is, he can't be a strong associate of another "gang", because payments and association of you two will eventually bring out the deed. A vet, but not a crewed up one. Likely a dude who's hustle is watching doors, paid lookout, make drops and pickups and escorts to rec, store, TV phones etc etc. Now the answer The guy being approached to do the job (Omar) knows why he's coming to him. Keeping distance, probably was told not to etc etc. Omar also knows this dude is crewed up, so any payments he's gonna recieve chico gotta hide or steal and it's only a matter of time before Omar not getting paid and having to step up, or it's just cheaper for chico for Omar to go away. The answer from Omar No, because you're offering payment you can't come thru with, my only access to him is easily traced, I don't trust you and I don't like you. The realism comes when chico asks again and insults him. Omar has no choice but to handle his ass. You cannot have your word disrespected like that. Having to tell you something twice is way way way too many times and then you try and punk me out. Just a thought. Now I gotta wipe my ass and go back to work.

@samhansen6320 Жыл бұрын
I've done a few days here or there. It's really easy to breakdown if you remember Respect and your word are the only currency that mean anything in prison. Yea money talks but if you don't respect me I ain't getting paid and if I don't keep my word with no repercussions, you lose respect. Also....Anytime. ANYTIME you are doing business outside your race and keeping it quiet for whatever reason, you're playing a very very dangerous game for the highest of stakes

@LostAndFound combination. If you're the man on the tier you'd be the one, possibly a close second, who'd be holler at whomever to do whatever. Or at least whoever it was wouldn't clearly be worried about it getting back to their crew. If it seem like a secret and we don't look the same, be gone. I might not mention it to my people, but that's unlikely.

That's the least of it, Omar is released from solitary IN THE NEXT EPISODE, after an attempted murder, then stabs McManus and is released from solitary again. There's no way in hell you'd be released back into the same unit where you stabbed two people, ONE A STAFF MEMBER, forget just solitary you'd be transferred to another prison. And after he kills the other Latino by throwing him into a TV, there's no talk of death penalty or murder charge, Oz is a lot of things, REALISTIC is not one of them.
