I'm a Wallies kinda guy and I love this stove since I first spotted it January of this year. It's the exact stove that Etekcity sells, but lower priced and with a propane adapter- you can barely buy a propane adapter for the price of this stove! This stove actually HAS been around for awhile, lol! Been running mine through the wringers and in my opinion, it beats out the Peak 1 stove all around because it sips the fuel. Definitely not the pos stove you say it to be 😡

I've had this for 3 months and used it a half dozen times with no problems. In fact it was just used on a 3 day camping trip with a medium fuel can that I'd used before and still have fuel left. It's just like one I bought from Amazon for $10 that didn't come with these extras. I really like it.

I must own about a dozen different stoves, from canister to solid fuel to wood... went on a 4 day camping trip about a week ago, remembered everything... EXCEPT A STOVE!!! 10:00 at night, not an REI or Cabellas for hundreds of miles, but what was 7 miles away? WALMART!!! And this P of S stove i wouldn't be caught dead with under normal circumstances totally saved our weekend... yeah I'm a "stove snob:, or I should say, was a snob, never again will I bad mouth anything from Ozark Trail, yeah, its still a P of S, but now its my favorite P of S!!!

Maybe I got a bad one? I’ve used it twice so far. I have to tighten the parts up whenever I pull it out.

@@tobystreks5187 don't get me wrong, total piece of crap, barely worth its low price, but did get by, got ne out of a bad jam when I needed it most. Hoping I never need to use it again, but again, it did function properly, both propane & cannister fuel as well as the pizo ignitor... but felt more lucky than good the whole time... oh, high marks for the fuel canister stand!!! Almost earthquake proof stability!!!

I've used mine about a dozen times on my motorcycle adv rides. It has worked well for me thus far with no failures on any part of it. That said, I do keep my trangia, and firebox with me.

if that's not the bag you would use to carry it, what sort of pouch or bad would you use to carry it then?

This is 100% the same stove that's been around under different names or unbranded. Seems like a really great deal for the package.

The cost is definitely low enough you have to buy one to at least try it out.

I've got the Ozark trail. I use a 16-ounce propane bottle. I've been very happy with it so far. About 90 to 95% of the time I use it to boil water. I'm working on making my spaghetti. I never slightly larger burning I've done this with before. But I would like to be able to make this In a one or two serving size on a camp stove.

I have that exact stove except mines the actual Chinese cheapo version. Ive been using it for about 3 years and it's held up great. Never any issue with it lighting or working and it boils as fast or near enough compared to stoves 2 or 3 times its price. Solid deal

That is identical to my Etekcity stove. It works great and weighs about 3 oz. The piezometric lighter failed after a couple of years. Interesting that this is now being sold by Walmart. It works great with all canisters except the Coleman canisters sold by Walmart. With the Coleman canisters I had the same problem that you had in which I had to screw it on very tight. It is actually a very reliable stove. I got a BRS 3000 t which is lighter so I rarely use this one anymore. If it is the Etekcity stove it is pretty good.

This stove seems to be sold under different names or unbranded. I just got one myself. I already had a BRS but I like redundancy lol.

It’s still around a year later. I just ordered one to try it out as I hadn’t used that type of stove. I liked the fact that it included the propane adapter so you have another option for fuel.

Been running my etek city stove for years at work, hot coffee and ramen 🍜 are what get cooked most. Been trying soups that'll fit my stainless mug. Not a family camp stop, not for large frying pans. You can do can cook a steak, just a smaller one, or a burger at a time in a small pan, cast iron 6-8 inch max. That's pushing it. This setup is meant to go lighter, not heavier.

Got mine recently as a backup to my Coleman butane stove (propane for heat in a van) and it's not bad. Not great either but when it's that or nothing I'm taking that.

Yes, because the bigger can was propane. The smaller can was isobutane.

Are you crazy you're the only person I've ever seen give a negative review. Everybody loves that stove it's a great stove for the price and everybody loves the fact that it comes with the adapter for the green tank. That adapter alone on Amazon or ebay is $12 all by itself and it comes with the kit

Question do you really need the legs most rocket stoves don't come with legs and don't require legs just sit the canister down on a flat surface and you're good to go look Mom no legs
@tobystreks5187

I personally never use the legs. While I have had my fair share of pots and pans tip over it hasn’t been enough times to get me to add them to my kit.
