That's one of the prettiest areas in Missouri. Looks like you had a great time. Congratulations on those catches.

@@BeyerOutdoorsIt absolutely is. Thanks, we always have a great time on this river but these two times were extra special.

@DogwoodNative It's been a couple of years since I've been there, but I might be going at the end of this month.

So cool that you documented the cicada madness! Congrats on the nice fish! I have also never experienced anything like it. Here’s to the next 13years

Thanks! We were lucky enough to get some cool shots. I think a full week off work will be in store in 13 years!

What section of the current river were yall in. I live in KC and want to go fish that river, just not familiar at all where to go for an opportunity to catch brown trout.
@DogwoodNative2 ай бұрын
@@ThomasShue The upper section. You can catch a brown trout anywhere in the blue ribbon section. MDC has some good info on where the blue ribbon section starts and ends, along with some access points and regulations.

Been wanting to take a trip there. Do you have any tips for camping?
@DogwoodNative2 ай бұрын
@@ScottyJosephMedia checkout Pinecrest Campgrounds. They’ve always done us right. Montauk state park too but hard to come by open spots sometimes.
