A Day exploring Hongyadong in Chongqing, China

Chongqing is the largest municipality in Southwest China with more than 30 million people.
Known as the Mountain City, it has maintained rapid economic growth and development, while still preserving its natural environments. We walked around the bustling city streets and explored the markets and Hongyadong area. Until 20 years ago, Hongyadong was home to the working class of Chongqing with its distinctive stilted buildings.
