Losing a good amount of weight without Ozempic has the same facial results that happen with Ozempic. You're losing fat, so your previously plump face will now sag and look less filled-in and older. Not everyone will look like this, but MANY people will, especially if they are middle-aged or older.

When I decided to stop that practice, the wrinkles that lie in wait caught up with me - it's going to happen, no matter what - maybe not so bad if you lose it slowly and you are younger. That said, I earned every line on my face and every wrinkle in my sagging birthday suit. While I want to look my best, if someone doesn't like the road map of life that I wear each day, that has more 'information' on it with each passing day - they can stop looking at me. :)

I used Ozempic to help "aid" my weight loss journey as I had over 100lbs to drop. I did it very slowly, it took me 1.5 years to lose the weight, in combination with MASSIVE lifestyle changes. Meal prep, mindful portion sizes, clean eating "80/20" rule and consistent exercise/activity 5-7 days a week. I can happily say that at 35 my face didn't "drop." My ass got smaller, but it's more toned and lifted with consistent strength training workouts. I'm perfectly okay with that!! I think this "theory" will vary from person to person. Don't let information like this "scare" you from taking Ozempic. Use wisely :)

Yes it’s not just because of the drug Ozenpic, it’s because of the rapid weight loss. You are gonna get loose skin if you loose a lot of weight regardless of how you did it, the more weight you loose the more saggy loose skin is left behind. I’ve just started Ozempic and at the end of my weight loss journey I’m planning to do a facelift( which I planned to do anyway even before, bcz of my age) So yeah , people shouldn’t be blaming the drug

100% going to judge hard. The majority who contributed to the shortage made it practically impossible for the people who need this life saving, that majority gave insurance companies reasons to not give Ozempic out. Ozempic happens to be the least terrifying out all of those life saving pens and the easiest to use. It also happens to be one of the least nauseating semaglutides out there. Also the needle that needs to be injected in you subcutaneously is one of the least painful. It hurts but it’s way better than Trulicity. Trulicity, you can’t even think about eating if you’re always nauseous. With Ozempic, you just don’t feel hungry. I will judge to the heavens and the hells. I don’t care about people losing their ass or their face because of Ozempic. I care about the lives we are losing because of the lack of access these VAIN assholes. I care about MY LIFE. Unlike many people who believe Diabetics deserve to suffer and die, I have family who love and care about me. I worked my ass off to try to live. I am still trying my hardest. I have 0 sympathies for the vanity of the people who abused this life saving medication. I do have 100% sympathy if it’s the case of, “Life saving medication did the life saving but now I have a weird face.” That, I have empathy for and will not judge. If it isn’t clear, I do have personal concerns regarding this matter.

Sorry not sorry but I will continue to criticize and judge people who are already skinny as hell taking Ozempic to get even skinnier. For what? Aesthetics? I think it is highly unethical and it shows how bad people want to be skinny even desperate enough to take something they DO NOT need. There are even programs that have “private” doctors helping people get a prescription for it while those who actually need it are suffering. I can’t imagine if I no longer had access to my life-saving heart medication because of an online trend. I would be devastated and people have a right to be.

@@jasminegreen1687 you have no idea WHY others take it. You don’t know their history, their existing issues or anything, do you?! Here in Australia, Ozempic is on PBS(Medicare) costs $40 (if Diabetic) or $7.40 (for pension or unemployed). But if you get it for weight loss, it’s not on the PBS & will cost, roughly $150. We also have another one called Saxenda, which costs around $380, same thing but you take it daily. Also all of ours can be delivered, like a subscription, so you don’t have to worry about it running out. You must cancel a month in advance, or it keeps coming. Out of curiosity it would be interesting to see the cost in America.

I have also battled two different types of cancer: fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma and high-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary. I have never undergone any skin treatments and am curious as to why many women choose to do so. Despite my medical conditions, I am often mistaken for being 20 years old. Recently, my 16-year-old son's friend mistook me for his sister, which led to an awkward conversation about his drinking habits. To maintain my health, I drink plenty of water to support my kidneys due to my diabetes and avoid sun exposure to manage my lupus. Although I smoked from the age of 13 to 31, I was able to quit after being diagnosed with liver cancer.

HOWEVER, weight loss isn’t mine or my PP’s goal, LIVING longer and saving my pancreas and Kidneys is the goal. There are other semi-glutides that are actually far more effective and are prescribed for weight loss. Speaking as a disabled person, having 10lbs of weight on you (130lbs instead of 120lbs for example) can cushion a fall and protect against broken bones. Talk to your doctor
@lisaaustin45615 ай бұрын
You should be lifting weights if you want your bones in shape. Not gain 10 pounds you don’t need. If you get osteoarthritis it won’t matter if you weigh 240. You’re going to break. @@wilchil5433 intermittent fasting can cause autophagy which tightens skin over time. And not only is the weight flying off, but all the healing processes that happen during fasting are making my skin GLOW. Years of sun damage and stretched skin from weight are just disappearing. Texture and fine lines are fading and my skin tone is evening out. It's like luxury skincare on crack, no lie. But since exercising won’t make you loose weight as quickly as medication, it will probably not have as drastic a change to the face as the “ozembic-face” effect.
