My daughter is diabetic, and was about 500 pounds,6ft tall. She is now half that weight. It works but its been hard on her body. She feels sick, all the time. Her sugar levels are better, so hopefully she'll be off soon.

I want to comment about the Hollywood stigma and Ozempic. I have never mentioned this in our live chats, but I have been on micro dosages of Ozempic for over 2 years. I'm a Type II diabetic but it is also currently prescribed for thyroid, menopause issues, regulation of estrogen as well as blood sugar correction. It is a miracle 'drug' if used right. The active ingredient is the peptide GLP-01 that our bodies should produce naturally, but because of menopause, my body stopped producing enough of it. I have controlled the diabetes with diet in the past, but during the menopause, it wasn't enough anymore. I do not use it for weight loss, but the one thing that changed for me is that food no longer was an emotional vice. I can honestly say that nobody has done proper research into the world of Ozempic if they start throwing these rumours around and that those who overuse the product or use it in large doses will suffer severe consequences. I have not had any of the bathroom side effects. The first thing I felt when I started using it, is that the brain fog that I'd had for several years, instantly cleared up and I had tons of energy. There is a YT channel with a lady that has done extensive research and I would strongly recommend that people find her channel and learn what this was meant to be and how many, many patients have found a cure for a multitude of problems. It is now so hard to find it, that I sometimes have to order the peptide instead of the product because it is being abused by people who are not in need of it. It is also true that in the case of truly obese people, it is a wonder drug that can assist in getting people mobile, follow a healthy lifestyle and feel the freedom of weighing less. I totally reject the Hollywood way of turning this into a shameful route to follow - for those of us who really need it, it is extremely useful. And no, there is no such thing as Ozempic face. There is a side effect that I will discuss if anyone is interested in it, but it is nothing like they talk about in the world of celebrities. It also does not affect your skin unless you do not stick to the rules. The YT channel where you can learn more is Dr Tyna Moore's channel - the only advice you will need to listen to, backed up by research and science.

Ozempic should only be used for diabetes and/or actual overweight. I know one person who has type 2 diabetes and he has to hundreds of kilometers to reach a pharmacy where Ozempic is still available (after several phone calls before that to find out where med is still available). For some reason his diabetes answers to Ozempic better than other medication. Makes me angry that people who are not overweight use the med only to lose more weight and stay thin 😬For some Ozempic is a matter of having a limb or not, even life.

My sister follows a really restrictive (but very healthy) diet on medical advice. She follows it to avoid having to use drugs to regulate her blood sugars. She has lost a huge amount of weight and looks incredible because her diet is so healthy. Her blood sugars also remain level. I’m very proud of her determination and priority of her health.
