Ozette Lake Kayak Camping & Photography Adventure
Join me on a 5-day sea kayak camping and photography adventure on Ozette Lake. We set up camp on Tivoli Island to explore the south end of the lake's opportunities for landscape and wildlife photography. We attempt to hike the long abandoned Allens Creek Trail, make some long-exposure landscape photos along the lake's shoreline, hike through old-growth forest along the Ericson's Bay Trail to the Pacific Ocean and do some nightscape photography.
Ozette Lake (also called Lake Ozette) is located within Olympic National Park and is Washington State's third largest natural lake.

What a great video. My grandparents had two cabins on the lake. One at Preacher’s Point and the other at Rocky Point. I was truly spoiled getting to spend so much time out there. Thank you for sharing this.

Brad, I'm heading there this weekend for some much needed stress relief. I normally just hike, but I believe I'll turn this into a canoe trip and bring a camera!

What a fantastic trip. I liked the kayaking interspersed with photography (or was it photography interspersed with kayaking?). I live around Puget Sound but I've never been to Lake Ozette. Definitely on my list now.
