The articulation is great for sanding the bottom of doors without having to take them off, but it is a bit underpowered.

I got one 4 years ago for $49 to help with hard to reach spots when doing up my car. Was perfect for sanding down rust and welds. Great tool and funny review mate.

Be interesting to point a thermal camera at it to see where the heat is coming and how bad it is, from if it's really getting that hot. Does Bunnings sell thermal cameras?
