Thanks Bram! Great opening of the video. Straight to the point. You lacked this in a couple of previous videos. Great idea to use saturation in series. In mastering I usually tended to use whether exciter or saturn. But not in the series to complement the sound. It makes sense. Occasionally I tended to use colour given with analog modelled compressors with 0 gain reduction. In your case there more control on subtle elements of character. Will try it myself on the next project. All the best, Ilja

Great to hear man! Really appreciate the feedback and absolutely focus on getting the videos to be as good as I can bang them out for you. Exactly, the method you describe can be super powerful too. Same for example when just using a Pultec clone without any settings so just for passing the signal through. Can be exactly what it needs!

@@thismixissick so true. Have you compared the 2 pultecs? Legacy and the bundle? Very interesting difference, I usually use accordingly to situation. But what I learned. Legacy handles better mid-high section and bundle handles better the low end cut-boost coherency. In series it works best as well!

@@thismixissick can I ask who is your main audience is? Some other engineers as me, or potential clients for mix/master edm music?

@@iljakorjukin I used the legacy one when I was still working with UAD plugins. Audience wise it really is everyone who loves to watch! The focus is on making content that I am hyped to put out while having potential value for others.

I've had Ozone Exciter for a while now, and never use it. Looks like it's my new favourite plugin now!
