Hi, what carabiners would you use fot this ozium 2? 30 or 40mm? also, next to the main harness hooks there are 2 pod attachment hooks. one red and one blue (each side). I noticed people dont hook up the blue one? is this right?

Regarding the problems with the magnets for the reserve handle I'm pretty sure you have it installed incorrectly. I had a similar problem with mine after the retailer installed my reserve chute in the Ozium 2. However after I repacked my emergency chute I installed it according to the manual and now it works perfectly. Looking at the video I see the the nylon pins are not installed according to the manual.

Thanks for pointing this out. We tested it again with the reserve fitted according to the manual and the magnet still doesn't hold well. It's OK but has been done better on other harnesses in this class and it's easy to get it wrong.

Would you say the strike is still a better light weight harness?

The more lightweight harnesses I see, the more I like my Skywalk Range Air. The Range Xalps 2 is also nice, but much less durable. If I wanted a foam protector, I would go for the Strike or Genie Xalps.

Always love the honesty of the Flybubble reviews. Greg... it does seem that for a lightweight harness, you prefer the Strike out of all the ones I've seen you review?? I'm looking for my first pod, coming from a Verso 2 and my trusty lightweight Radical 3. I fly Ozone wings, but have never been a real fan of their harnesses, to be honest. I do some hike/fly and I do travel a lot (airline) with my gear, so lightweight is important there, too. Would you still direct me maybe to the Strike or another option?? Thanks!! :)

I would like to see you actually taking off at this harness and to see how the connections around the legs are I know with a gin pod harness I tried it was quite the Nutcracker

you won't see the connections around the legs on a video, the pod covers those during takeoff. Read the full review flybubble.com/blog/ozone-ozium-2-ultralight-pod-harness-review where I comment on that. Of course it's not as comfortable as a normal weight harness. But it's not bad (like skywalk's string).

Can someone tell me, does having a fear of heights preclude a person from paragliding.

I know several paragliding pilots that have a fear of heights. They say it's not a problem. I don't understand it. :)
