Even though it's pretty long, I generally play this song if I'm introducing someone to the Ozrics for the first time, it just has so much in it, so many movement and styles that build so seamlessly, so you find that even though the music has radically changed you can't quite recall how you got there. They are also the master of the breakdown and big tempo changes and few bands do that. The album Live Underslunky is astonishing, but I advise anyone, you can start from the beginning and you won't be disappointed. I loved your comments and echo what you said about the fact that even though it's complex, it's not just pointless widdling on the guitar. A song imposes certain restrictions on a guitar solo, if it's to become part of it. Ed Wynne is as free and technicolour as anyone I've ever heard but every movement is deliberate, entrancing and entwined with the song. You can play a section of it and know what song it is immediately. Same with all the instruments to be fair. They are the best band I've ever come across and the best band I've heard live, especially when you could have a toke indoors. Once, I saw them two days on the bounce and the set was 2 and half hours roughly and each set was amazingly different in song selection. I used to discuss the Ozrics with a mate who was a huge fan and we ended up just looking at each other and saying.. "the boys know what they're doing". What else can you really say?

Eat Static are a Techno/Psychedelic electronica band formed by Merv and Joie Hinton. I always wonder about American reactions to Ozrics. In fact any non-English reaction because only in England is the free festival, Traveller culture that is associated with early Ozrics really understood. That's not a slight on any other Nation it just informs us with a different slant to you guys.
