As a teenager in the 90s I spent hours trying play along to this without having my mind melted by the time signature. I saw you live and I remember studying your fingers intently! Thanks for being such an important part of so many of our guitar journeys.

Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to teach my son to play the few ozric riffs I know (Bizarre Bazaar, Kick Muck) but this will be another level for him. I really enjoyed the gig in Hull on 15 Mar 24. I can't wait for the new album to arrive in the post.

Learn how different modes interact with any scales you might already know. Every scale has 7 different ways to play it based on the root note you start with. This is called a mode. That plus knowing how to move chord shapes up and down the neck relative to the scale will allow you to improvise almost infinitely.
@newusernamehere4772Ай бұрын
Also chromaticism means there are no wrong notes, just passing notes. Every note leads into the one directly above it (a - a#/bb - b etc) so if you transition smooth enough you can use the entire fretboard including off key or "outside" notes, this is how the masters create tension and release
@bloodynin9757Ай бұрын
@@newusernamehere4772 thank you, I kind of understand that ;)
