Dan , that’s a joke right? I can name numerous singers that can over 70! Paul Rogers , Mickey Thomas, Dennis DeYoung and Dennis can still sing all his old tunes at A-440 doesn’t have to lower the tune so he can sing it .. and before his death Brian Howe from Bad Company.. So Ozzy isn’t the only singer that can!

@albertnash8887 ай бұрын
Alongside “Miracle Man” and “Crazy Babies”, “Fire in the Sky” is one of the best songs on “No Rest for the Wicked”. It definitely should have been released as a single. This song tells the story of a man with a troubled childhood who’s deep hidden problems come to the daylight. The anger/pain is released and the problems are exposed. The chorus is also a cry for help.

I would add "Breaking All the Rules" and "Demon Alcohol" to that list. Lots of great stuff on this record. Course, every Ozzy album is amazing.

I agree, it should be played in No More Tours 2. Here's what I hope the typical setlist looks like: 1. Bark At The Moon 2. Mr. Crowley 3. I Don’t Know 4. Suicide Solution 5. Road To Nowhere 6. No More Tears 7. War Pigs 8. Over The Mountain 9. Fire In The Sky 10. I Don't Want To Change The World 11. Shot In The Dark 12. Crazy Train 13. Mama I’m Coming Home 14. Paranoid
@AFx31446 жыл бұрын
StarBoy62, you added three nice tracks: Over the mountain, Fire in the sky, Waiting of darkness.. Instead of Road To Nowhere, i'd choose Goodbye To Romance. Now If he plays your set, It Will be fine anyway. At least will contain songs that he has not been playing. That's cool.

Sabbath fan since/75 - knew in /79 something was abuzz. Don't get me on Randy...love him. /87 Tribute, late /88 - hence NRFTW. I knew Zakk was the man to reclaim (no dig on Jake - f n' awesome) - Oz needed a new blood. Anywho,someone told me once "fire" was written about Jack (Osbourne)...umm,no. Bob Daisley (again) wrote this with Ozzy/Zakk/Geezer. The song was a take on seeing all you have/had without being morbid on the death of Randy (one up on Ozzy) but,made a rock ballad by .... the plane crashed with Rudy Sazo,Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Arden (in the back of the bus) - Jake Duncan (tour manager),an awake Tommy Aldrigde (not so much a witness), Don Airey (keyboards) almost got hit taking pictures. Over an over worked a/c unit on the bus. 3rd plane buzz ( flown unautorized and unlicenced) Andrew Aycock ....about 9:50am (est). Tommy ditched Ozzy's waffle bag,Osbourne and co awakened, tour manger pulling his hair as Sharon hit him with a shoe, Airey,Aldridge,Osbourne helped a deaf man leave. Took 33 minutes before resuce/fire arrived.Randy,Rachel,Andrew - gone. Hence Bob,Oz..Geezer/Zakk...this song hurts but,rememberance - castle is burning. Jack wasn't born. An omage to life/accident hence never played much (sad we don't have soundboard). Sadly,I have and posted they Autopy reports on The Ultimate Rhoads. I guess we'll never see the Detriot,Bro's or any /81 video sobmitted to the Rhoads family ever. Fire in the sky is Randy and the end sadly to the Osbourne era within. R.I.P. Randy Rhoads.

Got Dayum it’s like Ozzy knew on December 10 1984 a boy would be born in dalton Georgia that would have a life full of pain , torment and laughing this young boy though was laughing at him acting like a wild man only to find out nobody understood but everyone knew the boy cared about people sharing laughter at his expense only this small redneck town cared more about hate than some kid who moved to this small Tennessee town from a big city as Dalton Georgia but from the small child to adult he had to find out for himself he was different and learned he had to build his own crowd and sometimes being alone was better than a couple thousand people
