Hi Reggy + Debbie, looks like you both are enjoying the cruise and having a drink and well deserved. a bit of shopping in Clogau Gold, thanks for the shout out, there is a Clogau Gold shop in Wrexham, Clogau Gold is fron the gold mines in Dolgellau about 50 miles away. Looks like you fascinated by the safety lines and mechanism on the life boat set up, all good stuff, carry on cruising you two and have fun

Never call a ship a boat!!! A ship carries boats!😂 Yes the life rafts have a type of release cord which is very long so that the raft only inflates when it is in the water. 👍

Reggy, are you an engineer? You seemed to be interested in a lifeboat or rather, its mechanism. This may have been the problem when I boarded Ambassador’s Ambience which couldn’t sail in Dec ‘22. She had an issue with a lifeboat or moreover its station to bring it down to water when we needed. June of London
