P-Bandai Exclusive HG GM Sniper Custom Review

Review of the recent P-Bandai Exclusive HG GM Sniper Custom. Having a different design base compared to the MG version, it did a pretty good job. Quality wise the kit is no different from the last HG GM Guard Custom. However as for being a sniper type MS the kit kind of lacks a open left hand for sniper pose and the front skirt armor hinders the kit from doing some kneeling pose. The backpack may be sticker heavy but with some painting it is not a big problem. Basically good enough for what it is.

Fun fact the Gm guard customs mask/visor is just armor to help protect the upgraded sensors already built into its head. It has to technological advantages when either up or down. It only serves to protect. All the tech is in the actual head. That’s why it’s always just a hollow hole unlike the Gm sniper 2 which has tech built into its visor.

Other than the regular GM, I'm kinda hoping we get the GM Sniper II in the HG Origin line. But I sure hope they include the open sniping hand for it.

Kinda wish that the HG The Origin GM Sniper Custom came with the Folding Beam Handgun and Twin Beam Gun to give it more equipment. But, at least Bandai finally released it.

The GM Sniper Custom is my absolute favorite mobile suit. It's a shame the hg is P-Bandai but at least I have the MG which still looks very great. I will probably customized it a bit more on mine. But really such ashame the hg is P-Bandai because I would love to get one

The front skirts issue are easily fix by cutting and filing the minor section of the grey skirt armor to improve the legs movement.

Aero981 just run an orange oil based marker in the MG version's visor, that's what I did and it turned out amazing, oh and head camera lens

the zaku origin type trigger finger/hand is prone to breaking because it gets really tight, i think i already broke 2, that is why i think bandai changed its approach on these federation suits, also the front skirts are deliberately designed like that, they made the torso loose so that you have to put it inside the waist gap everytime you do a kneeling/crouching pose which i find really odd, maybe they do not want a protruding crotch for their origin grunts because that will fix the skirt problem.

Its sad that I can't buy this kit here on my country,..all pre-orders were cut short and now its a miracle if I see one on sale however it would be really expensive
