Theres a few differences you didn't point out. The head 'mohawk' lenses are completely reshaped, front and back. The grey part surrounding the red part with the v symbol is reshaped. The bottom of the ankle skirt armour is reshaped with a groove. Also, apart from the red chin being larger (which you pointed out) the part above which connects to the blue visor is shaped differently. Not a criticism on your review, just pointing out.

They look similar but there are so many different between Jegan A type and D type. Actually, almost all HG Jegan that supposed based on Jegan D type just use the same mode as the A type and do not make the different part for them, many people(like me) do not notice that until the MG version come out.

BTW, the only part that is not color accurate in this kit are those missiles inside the shield, they are supposed to be grey but the actual kit is red instead.

To be honest the jegan is my favorite grunt mobile suit.

There’s differences but neither seems to have everything better than the other. Tbh I think I like the mint green more than the dull light green but in being color accurate to the CCA type Jegan it missed the opportunity to have a better color balance for the suit overall - should have a different color on the chest for contrast, etc. Maybe if we get a Ver. Ka redesign that could happen.

I think if Bandai uses parts of the Gundam MK2/Hazel inner frame and the Jegan inner frame, they can make an MG GM III. I really hope they make it because I want to get the perfect GM collection. GM, GM II, GM, III, Jegan, Jesta.

I think I know how Bandai is going to do the MG Stark Jegan’s shoulders, they’re most likely going to have you omit the top armor part and just slide the missile pod directly on To the shoulder frame because there is added armor on the missile pod that cover both side the shoulder armor
