Just a small heads up, there is no active draft in the USA. Current military members signed up under their own free will and proudly serve. Although there may be still a few times of "You have a choice, serve "X" numbers of years in prison or serve the same amount of time in the military. My dad was military, I was military, and now my son-in-law is military. Military personnel proudly serve, even when they don't personally agree with the head honchos. 1973 was when the draft was ended. Keep up the great vids!!

Not all the people where volunteers honestly, if you read the book "The things we carry" a book written by a vet from that time, it shows that if you denied going to war, you'll be imprisoned. Long story short the draft is either you volunteering to go on your own will or you get thrown in prison for not wanting to go to war, you are right that it hasn't happened in a bit, but wrong on how many people actually willingly volunteered.
