I haven't noticed what you are talking about but I think a lot of it, Lisa, has to do with the casting call and what city they are shooting in. Imagine the difference in response from a ritzy casting call in Hollywood vs something blasted all over New Orleans or Atlanta. For a music video like this, you generally just want the hottest girls you can find to sell the track, and you have a budget and short time frame to get it done. Hot girls sell music. So don't think that dark skin ladies are intentionally being left out because you notice more whites in cinema than blacks. There probably isn't as near as many showing up to the casting call. As you can see in this video, that dark skin is quite beautiful and anyone would be so lucky to have a group of girls like that in a video if there was a call for it and they answered it. They're smokin hot and going to sell that track! :) Cheers.
