Diddy's Lawyer: "Diddy only bought 732 Baby oils its completely normal".
@Daniel-zc5lf9 сағат бұрын
Either a fucker has a lawyer or you have an authoritarian regime where bad people and "bad" people don't have a line of defense. I really do not understand why humans sometimes are so dimwitted by their morality constraints that they don't understand how law works.
@NewGuy4789 сағат бұрын
False info, he had 1000 baby oil bottles and 732 dildos
@John_EMIYA_Miller9 сағат бұрын
I feel bad for that lawyer. He absolutely knows what's up, but because every person who walks into a courtroom is granted by the state the unassailable right to a fair trial (which is a VERY important right to have), he's essentially legally obligated to always answer in a way that at least attempts to help his client's case. Because if a defendant doesn't get a completely fair trail, they can get it appealed or even dismissed. Not a fun position to be in, and I'm certain he doesn't enjoy playing the fool... or he's like that Bishop from Castlevania and believes every word he's saying. In which case, I don't feel bad in the slightest.

The thing is, successful defense attorneys have to pretend that they believe their client is innocent. It's part of the whole right to representation thing. If your lawyer doesn't act like they believe you're innocent, there's not a jury in the world who will believe you either. If you want to be a successful defense attorney in this crap world you need to be a better actor than most of the people who grace the big screen today.
@xXMegaToastXx3 сағат бұрын
Yeah, the whole point of a defense attorney is that they are supposed to help you get the best possible outcome from your trial. First they're gonna try to prove you innocent, if that fails you're gonna take some kind of plea deal or whatever to lighten the sentence, if that fails you contest the trial on whatever tiny hope of mishandled evidence or something.
@1_____________________3 сағат бұрын
Not necessarily. The job of the attorney is to get the most lenient legal outcome. This often involves trying to prove their clients innocent, but with evidence beyond reasonable doubt, it's not as common and rather goes the "well yes this happened but..." way.
