Great trip so far. Can’t wait to see what’s next.We always avoid Toronto as much as possible.We are in Huntsville right now but heading back to Niagara tomorrow and always take back roads. Takes a bit longer but more scenic and your always moving……not stuck in traffic 😍
@CampingwiththeColes11 ай бұрын
We we head north we always take the back roads as far as we can until we have to get on the 400. We don't mind spending a little extra time to take scenic roads and have a stress free drive.

Perhaps take the 407 to the 412 or the 418 to avoid that 401 Toronto mayhem, it will cost a bit but since you only be taking it once it might be worth it😊
@FrankBullitt39011 ай бұрын
Its about $28 per trip, well worth it, especially when you're on vacation. Its pure therapy doing 130 down the 407 during midweek rush hour...or so I am told ;)

Wow! Looking forward to the next 2 weeks. This video brought back a lot of fond memories from our time in PEI. We are looking forward to going back with our trailer this time. I'm a huge L.M. Montgomery/Anne fan from childhood. It definitely added something to my experience of PEI but my family and friends who came along on the trip enjoyed the island plenty, even if the "Lake of Shining Waters" wasn't as big a deal for them as it was for me.
@CampingwiththeColes11 ай бұрын
So many people are Anne of Green Gables fans and there's Anne stuff everywhere on the island. I'm sure it would mean a lot to fans to check out the stuff. We don't know anything about it so we know we wouldn't be able to do it any justice showing it in these videos.

Great video 👏🏻👏🏻 we agree with you about the highway 401. We live in Belleville Ontario and see many unnecessary multi crashes on that highway. Back in 2018. We drove our vintage 1994 leisure travel class B van to Nova Scotia,it was one of our first longer trips with this camper. The little fridge had a problem about not staying locked closed. We went through Montreal early on a Sunday morning to avoid heavy traffic. There was massive construction and one lane between two cement barriers. My husband hit a big pothole, and we hear a crash and my casserole that was partly frozen landed on the floor. I’m trying to clean up the mess as he’s hitting pothole after pothole. Needless to say, I was sick to my stomach and had to lay back down on the bed for a few minutes. We still laugh about that adventure. Now we drive a small 24 foot 2022 class C because we have become snowbirds .We are planning a trip to Halifax Nova Scotia with our son and his wife with their camper to watch sailboat racing this summer. I look forward to seeing your part two of your PEI trip.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
