Mad respect for Dinwiddie with this interview… incredible responses, explanation of what happened… and he kept it real af & spoke straight FACTS! Calling out that if it was Luka who took that shot the call would’ve been made or if it was any star player with “a name” was so on point. He was still respectful to the refs, the league but stood up for himself & stood his ground at the same time. Good shit Spence! You’re having a hell of a season! This was a tough ass break & it’s been a rough ass stretch of games but Luka & Ky will be back eventually & once the team is healthy, y’all still got this!

Rule 13 says referees can review a play if “Officials are not reasonably certain whether a goaltending or basket interference violation was called correctly during the last two minutes of the fourth period or last two minutes of any overtime period(s)”

I remember before like when Luka hit a buzzer 3 point shot at the end of the quarter.. the shot was counted...later, upon review during halftime, referees saw he stepped out of bounds when he took the shot, so they take away the three point shot and continued about 2 seconds left of the clock before they start the 3rd quarter.. NOW, ref said the reason they missed the goaltend is bcoz they just missed it... my point is, if no whistle is blown, game should continue and stay at it is.. just be consistent.. if they can review a play if it is out of bounds after a 3 point shot without a blown whistle, then they should also review a play if it should be a goaltend without a blown whistle... specially if the game is on the line.

This is literally what I had thought. The NBA reviews shots throughout the game to determine if shots counted or not, if it was a 3 point/2 point, and all of a sudden that doesn’t apply with a goal tend.

It's ridiculous that games end this way. It was obvious goal tending. Instant replay in NBA HQ should say hold on let's take a look at this. They do this now in the NFL with close plays being reviewed a.s.a.p. by the NFL Replay center and decisions being sent right to the refs before the next play.

Obvious Goal tend wasnt called. But i think Spencer isnt playing his role properly at all. When Luka isnt here Spencer needs to be a playmaker 1st. He starts off passing then goes into scoring 2nd half of games and thats not what Mavs need from him.

I’m starting to hear the “Fire Kidd” campaign bubble up. My question is who do you replace Kidd with, who is available that is a solid PROVEN coach, who can effectively coach this squad. It’s a talented squad. All those coaches are working. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Frank Vogel is in the wings, working for Dallas as a “consultant” much like Doc Rivers was before the Bucks fired Adrian Griffin and replaced him with Doc. Not sure Vogel is an answer for Dallas though.

I just hope that none of our guys demoralizes to the point they want out. I so want to see this squad healthy for a whole season, I really hope we're able to stick with these guys for one more year...at least. Real fans will be here whatever happens, it's only expectable for us to lose when half of our squad is getting injured this year. Now, about that goal-tending, I don't fucking care what anyone says trying to justify that shit NOT being called-out and us losing a game because of it. It's absolutely DISGRACEFUL that in these modern days, with 20-30k cameras and full-capability to review calls, shit like that still happens. Utterly DISGUSTING, I tell you. MFFL 💙🤍
