Beautiful music and nice singing of Maria Zadori, Marta Fers and others with appropriate simplicity, all the while discovering the importance of this prince to Europe and perhaps to music. How many citizens of Galanta (Slovakia) are aware of this heritage? I certainly do not remember this being taught ( having grown up in the district of Galanta). Arresting the advance of Turks on Vienna in 1683, an effort Pal 1 Esterhazy was part of, certainly changed the then and subsequent political landscape in central Europe for all nationalities and very much so for Slovaks. Unfortunately many of the former Esterhazy holdings and collections were plundered and destroyed in the post 2nd WW. Thanks to post communist “renaissance” we can discover these historical and cultural gems. Krásna hudba a pekný spev Marie Zadori a Marty Fers s vhodou a prekrasnou jednoduchosťou, to všetko pri objavovaní významu tohto princa v Európe či v hudbe. Kolko občanov Galanty (Slovensko) sú si vedomí tohto dedičstva? Nepamätám že v škole nas o tom učíli .. (vyrástol som v okrese Galanta). Zadržanie pochod Turkov na Viedeň v roku 1683, čo Pal 1 Esterházy bol súčasťou, nepochybne zmenila politickú scénu v strednej Európe pre všetky národnosti vrátane Slovákov. Bohužiaľ mnoho z bývalých kaštielov a zbierok Esterházyovcov a ich potomkov boli vykradnuté a zničené po 2. WW. Vďaka postkomunistickej "renesancie" môžeme objaviť tieto historické a kultúrne poklady.
