The Chinese nation is a nation that knows how to repay gratitude. When everyone looked down on the People's Republic of China, African brothers stood on China's side. When Africans were bullied by white people, the rising Chinese brothers were determined to stand with Africa. what a touching brotherhood! Therefore, learn from China seriously: fight corruption, establish clean government, comprehensively improve education, build roads, railways, hospital and sufficient power stations, provide clean drinking water, stop selling mineral resources to white people cheaply, protect animals, and revive the desert... 2063 you can make it!

It is of importance to note that there is a larger picture than China only profitting from making many infrastructural advancements, through road building, and such, and there being great debt to pay in a prescribed time frame. In Jamaica W.I., people said they had to repay a road to the major city in 50 years.. and while looking at a great barge of bauxite, our response was: China is showing you how to add value to your inherent wealth! Instead of selling basic bauxite, transform this into aluminum for much greater revenue. This would allow the debt to be resolved much sooner. There is a lesson to receive here, and all over world, where people are subjugated, while sitting on vast reserves of potential wealth. Become producers, and not only consumers.. This will immediately change the economic architecture of any country.

US VP Kamala Harris went for an African tour about 2 years, and kept on bashing China at every stop. Finally at the last big conference meeting, one of the exasperated African leaders told her on the spot; Ma'am VP, the modern airport your entourage landed, the high speed railway system you all saw, beside the smooth wide highway you all travelled on, to this large well designed conference building & its hall; With comfortable seats, equipped with hi-tech lighting, audio & visual systems, air-con & well ventilated space - all these are financed by lowest cost Chinese loans, designed, supplied, built and completed 1 year ahead of schedule to the big applause by the attending African leaders to her embarrassment! 😊

Why did China have to do it? Why couldn't Africa build those things itself? It's not much of a point to say, "Well, another country did it, instead of yours." You're still in a space of having an outside country do it. It's like if a slave says one master gave him better clothes than the other master. Well, he's still a slave no matter who his master is. Very wise. Thank you for sharing wisdom. I’m thinking of my own country and my own circumstances: where we are, what we want, and how it can be done. I’m living in Norway, so here the most pressing issues are how we can become less imperialist and capitalist, how we can avoid subordinating our foreign policy to US interests, how we can avoid embargoing, sanctioning and “decoupling” from China so much that our economy will be ruined, and - in the least - make us avoid becoming dragged into a potential, and not unlikely, US-initiated world war against China (and maybe Russia) which would be the ruin of humankind. We all have a lot to learn from China.

It's different for every country in Africa, but the one thing that should NEVER be allowed is to have outsiders tell you how to run your country and the only way they can do that is if your leaders have sold you out and plunged your country into a debt hole that you can never recover from. Once the outsiders own you they wreak havoc , like proxy wars, indoctrination, propaganda, false reports on human rights violations, the wars create refugees, IDP's, they then use the UN to set up refugee camps, send so called peace keepers, all of which is a business that these instigators benefit from. And you would be wrong, what helped China is not that complicated: China left the Soviet Union. Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping saw Singapore and reformed China into America's sweatshop. China at first sold labor and then rented factories but slowly as it accumulated gains, it bought the rights, copied, stole and then sold back to America. The reality is America and Europe are the markets. Once China was able to sell there, it could sell anywhere.

Exactly. I don't like this guy. He thinks he knows far more than he actually does. If he's talking about African emancipation, he needs to understand that Christianity and Islam are part of the mental slavery he's talking about. Did Africa not have religion before it was invaded by thieving colonisers and jihadists? Why is he not talking about the fact that when Africans worships foreign, imported gods and 'saviours', they are still technically slaves and conquered people? Why doesn't he call for a revival and updating of African religion and spirituality? What is he talking about ''baptism''? He admires the Chinese and Japanese. Does he see the Chinese talking about 'baptism' and 'Jesus'? Don't they observe their traditional religion, be it Buddhism or Taoism or Shintoism? That's why they are strong and lack the inferiority complex that comes with observing foreign faiths. He is not ready for real emancipation.

This guy talks big, No country can climb alone and not even China did that. China attracted foreign companies and then invested heavily in their education and talents that could start making their own product alongside foreign companies and good government policy that guided their way. I really doubt any western country would do what China has done for Africa and of course China isnt doing charity but its at least far better than IMF and WorldBank. Africans that have railways, clean water, hospitals, houses, towns, cities, factories, dams, electricity, enough food just because China invested and actually built something instead of giving all the investments to corrupt officials so they would let China to loot the minerals. If Africa wants to rise on its own then i would say Africa destined to poverty for all of its existence.

@@sammymanu7584 brother, the fact that China loans money on low interest and re-negotiate it if the country cant pay and builds actual tangible projects that profits the people is actual respect. @cheungchingtong3 ай бұрын
@@sammymanu7584 It is understandable to see Africans be cautious with all kinds of agreements and contracts signed with outsiders, due to its long history of being colonized by the West, but the way how China approaches Africa is rather different, which like this gentleman here said, just to do business and be as respectful as they could. And I don't think China has ever asked Africans to bow their self-esteem for money, which leads to my question, if Africans see every opportunity as another potential threat, and every businessman as another potential colonizer like having a PTSD, without the ability of knowing right and wrong, black and white, how the hell could they develop?

In order to do business in China, you must agree to share your intellectual property with the state, that is how they have replicated so many businesses. Interesting speech. One way of looking at Xi Jinping's comments regarding "Africa as a single country" is that he is referencing China's experience of uniting 56 different ethnic groups under a unified banner. One of the key strategies of imperialists is "divide and conquer", the West has tried (and failed) with Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong - only Taiwan remains. While the reality is that achieving unity among many different tribes is very difficult, it also provides the strongest front against imperialists who seek to exploit these differences to create chaos and prevent constructive development. He is 100% right though that the starting point is for people to regain their dignity. Vijay Prashad talked about his experience meeting peasants in the Chinese countryside after the revolution and mentioned how they had dignity - they could look him in the eye. For those of us who ended up seeking 'education' in the West we perhaps take it for granted, but such a basic thing really ends up being foundational for future development.
