It's also a nice finishing touch when you remember that out of desperation to rebuild a civilization and fulfill a beloved father and past Avatar's dying wish, Tenzin previously tried to complete this goal by force. Him mellowing out and calming down, and presenting free choice, rather than trying to jam Air Nomad culture down their throats was the final touch needed to achieve what comes down to the heart of the matter anyway. Since Air Nomads are a people of freedom, not tied down to any one thing, it is only most fitting and appropriate that if anyone is to join the Air Nomads not by being born into them, it must be because they freely chose and volunteered to do so.

I wish Zuko had at least one more fight scene. I mean, considering he was a firebender fighting master level benders of every element in a freak blizzard in the dead of night at the north pole, he did _great,_ but I wanted to see Zuko do some master-level, Fire Lord feats.
@Arkayjiya3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if Zuko is that good a bender. He has great discipline thanks to his Uncle but even at the end, Iroh told him not to engage Azula alone, even he agrees that he can only do it cause she's lost it. Zuko is a great bender since he got his emotions in check, better than 95% of them don't get me wrong, but I don't think he's Iroh's, Ozai's or Azula's level. And whatever training made him stronger over the years is counterbalanced by his old age and the cold.

hey just so you know there definitely were benders that had parents that were a mixture of the different nations before Korra, like Kyoshi's who had an earth bender for a father and an airbender for a mother.
@FallenOne6693 жыл бұрын
But that did not happen during the Hundred Year War.
@BigWolf1303 жыл бұрын
@@FallenOne669 Actually it did happen during the hundred year war. In the comics there is an earthbender whose father is from the fire nation and mother is an earthbender. Who very clearly lived during the hundred year war. I will say mixing of the races was probably a little more uncommon during the hundred year war and there weren't any characters in Avatar the show other than Kyoshi that were of mixed descent.

If you look closely at the way the new airbenders are being taught by the Dai Li, they’re essentially doing earthbending moves just with air blasts added. Kai meanwhile, has been taught actual airbending techniques, and even though it hasn’t been long he’s still leagues above the other prisoners.

In the scene where Jinora was exploring Lake Logai via astral projection the creators considered putting Jet’s skeletal remains in one of the shots, but ultimately decided it was too dark. (but double suicide isn’t I guess?)

I don't want a live action ATLA remake. I want a live action trilogy that follows Zaheer and the early formation of the Red Lotus. Tenzin, facing the first big threat since his father passed away. Chief Sokka, retired from leading Republic City and is now in the southern water tribe, likely a large component of the White Lotus. Perhaps we can see him flashback to Suki's death, explore his and Toph's relationship. Tonraq- New Father starting a new life. Having been exiled from the north for a crime he didn't commit, he traveled south and married. As a father to Korra he steps up to take a leadership role after Sokka's passing, likely at the hands of Zaheer. Sokka takes a strong mentorship role with him. Zuko, much older and wiser comes in on his dragon. Show his grief for the death of Aang in his commitment to protect his new reincarnation.
@bkjeong43023 жыл бұрын
The Red Lotus formed right after the end of ATLA so we can't see its development as an organization. However, I do think your idea has promise because it's pretty obvious that they became bolder after the death of the current Avatar. Have a series where the Red Lotus is planning some serious moves immediately after Aang's death, having had decades to infiltrate the White Lotus and every world government, and trying to pull off a series of massive coups since there's no Avatar to deal with them now. To counter this, the surviving members of ATLA!Team Avatar (at least two of whom would likely be White Lotus grandmasters at this point) team up with whoever of the Dangerous Ladies are still around. Their children, now masters and badasses in their own right, join their parents in their first real test against a serious threat (we could see Lin find the Republic City police force is infested with Red Lotus agents, for example). Other military/police units across the world also get involved. The whole thing then comes down a massive, worldwide purge of Red Lotus agents as the Red Lotus itself launches a massive, worldwide coup. Expect all the ATLA generation characters (Team Avatar + Dangerous Ladies) to demonstrate just why they're so respected and feared: this is going to be their Old Masters moment. It's their one last major, climatic battle before most of them get too old for prolonged battles. The four Red Lotus members we focus on in LOK are going to be focused on as this is their first major mission as Red Lotus masters, and are pitted against the old masters; we have Old!Team Avatar plus some of their former most dangerous enemies, having to work together to defend the next Avatar against Evil!Team Avatar. These four Red Lotus members obviously escape this purge, along with a fair number of lower ranking Red Lotus members, allowing them to recover as an organization and and launch the kidnapping attempt, which becomes the plot point of the second season.

Druk might not sound like a good name for a dragon but it has deeper meaning. The Druk is a thunder dragon in both Tibetan and Bhutanese mythology. These specific dragons are told to have a cry of thunder (their roar) and are often represented with jewels signifying wealth and prosperity. :) Definitely didn’t look it up on google like 2 mini ago lol
