No , Brahmi that we use as herb / brain tonic is known as Waterhyssop/ Bacopa monnieri is a perennial, creeping herb native to the wetlands of southern and Eastern India, it has tiny white flowers and leaves are similar to kulfa . Where as Indian pennywort is also known as jalbrahmi .
