As an Anatolian Turk I can say that it's almost same with the dialect we speak as standart Turkish in Turkiye today. Personally, I understood every single word of this beautiful song, and it feels so good. Thank you for sharing this!

For many years, I lived in the same neighborhood and apartment with the RUM/Greeks in Istanbul. Since there is no letter Ş and I in Greek, they say the words with these letters as S and İ. However, Turkish speakers in the video can say these letters like Turks. Also, the international scientific committee says that they are Orthodox Turks. They also agreed. Prof Evangelia BALTA abstained. 4 generations of Greece assimilated.
