P&O Arvia Mediterranean Cruise 2024 | Travel Day & Embarkation | Full Balcony Cabin Tour | Ibis Hotel Room Tour I Keel & Cow ⚓︎
Welcome to a brand new series. We travel to Southampton, and stay at the Ibis Hotel. Full Room Tour included. We go shopping, eat at Zizzi before doing a mini haul then bed down for the night.
The next day, after a Costa breakfast, we board the beautiful Arvia at the Ocean Terminal after leaving the car with CPS Parking.
We do a full Deck 15 Standard Balcony Cabin tour, before heading to muster then dinner at the Keel & Cow just as we sail away!

Yes but only wine or fizzy wine/champagne. Spirits and beer are no longer allowed though sadly.

Can I ask if there's a weight limit if you meet the ship in Southampton, opposed to if you flew somewhere to meet it? Have yet to book our 1st cruise but just about to do so. Did you have any problems with motion sickness?

@@doodles3075 Hi! Thanks for watching. There are no apparent weight limits when boarding at Southampton but I guess if it is really heavy they may question it. The ships are so heavy there is minimal effect from the sea unless it is very rough. We have never had sea sickness so far. Good luck with your booking 🚢

I would stick with mid ship for a first cruise so you’ll feel minimal movement, weight allowance is usually up to 23kg 😊 Pippa xx

Yeah did have a great time except I didn't get off at Marseille because I had enough Port Days but I did get off in in Barcelona. Cadiz, la spazia and la coruna

You paid £40 for keel and cow when all your food should be inclusive. The ambience of keel did not look special for me and the food looked like slightly above average uk chain pub food.

As cruisers should know, not all places to eat on ships are ‘inclusive’ some have an upcharge. We also used cruise credit for the food so it cost us nothing, and the food was excellent, and as we haven’t eaten ‘pub chain’ food your comparison doesn’t really mean anything to us. Thanks.
