We loved Aurora, she is a fantastic cruise ship and we cannot wait to board her again. Cruising was certainly a delight on this small adult only ship. Many thanks for watching this walkthrough.

Oh what a lovely refresher of Aurora! Superb narration as you make your way through her spaces. I sailed on her roughly 10yrs ago, but I am reminded of her cosy, stylish but still very traditional British look and feel. Indeed the Crows Nest is an exquisite lounge and rivals many similar spaces aboard other even more prestigious vessels, such as Cunard's Commodore's Club. Lovely memories! It is a great ship, and I would urge anyone to try Aurora, as it seems that the major cruise companies seem to be moving away from these smaller ships. I cannot understand why they would not want to build another similar size ship, as many people I talk to love the smaller ships. The word profit comes to mind! @@jjandkaz2955 Many thanks for your kind words. Oh most certainly, Aurora is a beautiful package and so very elegant. I am Australian (though have lived in London), so we dont see beautiful Aurora down here often. She is on my preferred ship list though. I have been cruising for nearly 45yrs...in the 70s on the original Arcadia, Canberra, Oriana and Fairstar, as well as Princess...all small-medium cosy vessels by comparison to today's "apartment blocks" afloat. I find the medium vessels so congenial and inviting, more reminiscent of the 'old' days of ocean travel. Cunard is most pleasant also, though QE2 is sadly missed for her - once again - design, style and cosyness. I must be getting old haha! Best wishes from down under...

Having not been on her since the early 2000s, she’s aged very well in my opinion. Just the right size and not like these awful floating apartment blocks which dominate cruising these days. A lovely design (especially the open tiered decks at the stern). Given the model P&O (specifically carnival) appear to have gone down in recent years, I fear she mightn’t be in the fleet for much longer. Being smaller, she won’t give the financial scale that their new mega ships do. Will be a sad day when she leaves! Just like it was when Oriana went.

It will be sad indeed when she and Arcadia go, just hope that they get replaced, but it's probably unlikely. Still there is always hope!!

Lovely video. We sailed on her in 2018 to the Canaries. We had a wonderful time. Have been on many cruise ships but she has to be one of my favourites.

A proper ship just the right size ..Went to New York and returned on her via various American stops. In her early days .A really comfortable ship,traditional P&O feel and very elegant unlike most of the ships of today.They don’t know what to put on them nowadays but miss out the simple important things.

Is that secret deck are on 10 not for crew? It certainly overlooks the crew r&r area.

Many thanks for the tip re B deck forward (Deck 10) - secret public balcony. We are in B142 to Greece next year, so very close by, and shall use it often we hope. Might take a No Entry sign with us to ensure we get access now you have let the cat out of the bag!

Entitled much? No doubt you’ll try to pass it off as a _joke_ but maybe cruising isn’t really for you if you don’t like sharing. Try booking a private yacht if you don’t want others near you or learn to play nicely with others.

Not at all, there seemed to be plenty of seating available, even in the crystal pool area which we thought might get busy. Buffet busy at breakfast but we still were able to find a table

For the price you pay in Sindhu, nothing is complimentary, not the sides, nil, zero. Mains could be more authentic and need to scrap the Banoffee Pie, really?! It seems the atrium waterfall is STILL not working and the quick shot of the two catchment pools below it look filthy, they used to be blue.

Sindhu is fushion food, definitely British with a Indian influence or is it Indian with a British influence? Ummmm.😵‍💫 but they are most certainly authentic. I guess banoffee pie must be popular but it’s a mystery why they didn’t ask you to help with the menu.
