Superb unusual travel video, unexpectedly loved the singing show! the tobogan run is a swiz, way to expensive to pay P & O for that ride? departing Funchal in the night looks fantastic. Must be hilarious watching that "silent disco", looks an excellent cruise. Just got to go! yes, and its starting 4th Nov 2023, can't wait, thank you for this vieo.

@@neilbagshaw I noticed the crew entertainment team were doing a Motown tribute. If it was, Build Me Up Buttercup was never a Motown hit! British band Foundations on the Pye label. I'm sure it'll be a blast.

Hi, really enjoyed your video and the one on Britannia in the Caribbean 2023. I would be grateful if you could let me know what equipment you use to shoot your clips as they’re really good. I’m considering a GoPro 11 or an Insta360 x3 but can’t decide. Many thanks for any advice.

Thank you Alan. I enjoy recording all of our holidays. I used go pro for Ziplining and snorkeling. For all other clips, I used my Samsung Galaxy phone S21 with 128GB memory, as I prefer to download my recording in 2k or 4k for shorter videos. We love cruising and also did the Mediterranean on Wonder Of The Seas last year and will be travelling from Southampton to the Med at the end of the month on Arvia. Watch out for that video in late June.

@@neilbagshaw many thanks for your quick and informative response. I’m on Sky Princess to the Med in September so looking to make some memories. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max but looking to supplement it with an action camera. I’m leaning towards a GoPro so thank you 😄

@Alan I can't recommend Go Pro enough. It's great for action shots, and anything involving water. The picture quality is excellent ( even though I have an old Go Pro. Enjoy cruising on Princess. We havnt done that yet. We are also away in September, travelling for the first time on Msc to the Norweigan Fjords.

@@neilbagshaw we cruised on Princess for the first time last year and thought they were great with regards to customer service, entertainment and food. We’ve done Royal Caribbean to the Med and that was superb and also P&O Iona during a staycation. On Britannia October 2024 to the Canaries and then hopefully do the Caribbean in 2025. Not sure if it will be on Britannia or Arvia.

The weather in November was beautiful, especially if you travel to the south you bus from Santa Cruz. In Tenerife and Gran Canaria it was the high 20s. Your times on Iona will be different to ours, as we were on Azura.
