P&O Azura Fly-Cruise Travel Day to Tenerife

Our next adventure begins! Are we mad to embark on a fly-cruise so close to the awful Maleth experience a few weeks ago? Well, this one was all booked and paid for long ago so here we go! In this vlog I’ll show you the whole fly-cruise process from London Gatwick to Tenerife with P&O cruises as we fly to the Canaries to join P&O Azura for a one week Canary Island and Madeira cruise. Strap yourselves in and come a long for the ride! It can’t be as bad as the last one, can it?! 😯

Hope your fly cruise experience was better than ours last week on Azura Madeira/ Canary Islands, after day 2 no hot water, awful stink coming from the shower. water resolved day 3 just tepid. After that no water for some time unable to flush toilet. back to only cold water. fixed apparently day 6...4am of departure steaming boiling water coming out of the basin sink even at cold.. try the shower almost scalded. again complained to reception and again asked to speak to ships health and safety officer as cabin bathroom not safe to use all week and refused to move us. 4.20am 2 crew literally ripped the plumbing apart and replaced pipes and fixings and pulled out stinking black gunk ball mass from the shower drain. still not fixed .wrote and sent pics to P&O who are now investigating. plumbig issues galore on deck 8. tried selling me a 2 week Caribbean cruise for later this year flying out and back with TUI. laughed my arse off, told her to tune into KZbin and stop selling TUI flights when you know full well it's on Maleth.. "well i am just reading what it says on my screen sir" " if you book now we will give you an extra £100 onboard spend for a balcony cabin " madam i will give you £100 if you tell people the real facts, have a nice day. 3 others behind me in the queue listening in walked away.

Hi Jamie, that was great, thank you. Gatwick North, looks as if its had a spruce up. Used to spend a lot of time flying backwards and forwards from Spain to the UK when I lived there. The winter sun looks lovely, I miss the coffee and getting my washing dry. Our cruise to the Canaries is months away. Good to see what to expect when we get there though. ...

I love this cruise and did it in 2022. The flight for me was smooth and seamless too with jet2. I love the Azura and it may be an older ship but it’s still charming and I like that the balconies are bigger than the newer ships.

Fantastic Jamie . Thank you so much for showing all the prices as well. Really helps me plan when we travel on a budget so I don’t get stung with hidden costs like the food on the flight. How tiny is the tv in the room haven’t seen one so small in a long time. Some will say you don’t cruise to watch tv but I love to get away from the hussle and the sun and enjoy a film in the cabin 😂
