The aft views were amazing as you will have seen on the vlogs we have done so far - highlight for us apart from the sunsets, was the early morning passage through the straits of Gibraltar when two continents were clearly visible whilst laid in bed 😂

It was a fabulous cabin but the icing on the cake was the balcony and the incredible views plus the balcony is a bit bigger than the normal standard size on Britannia - the best but was that it wasn’t anymore expensive !!!

It really was - aft facing cabin will be our cabin of choice where possible on any new cruises we book 😀

What a nice cabin, bathroom is better than Princess as it has a door on the shower instead of a curtain! Did you feel more movement at the aft?

The doors on the shower are great and even better on Iona because they open inwards or outwards !! Yes we definitely felt more movement than other cruises we have been on where we were midship and mid-aft. Wouldn’t put us off booking the cabin again.

We sailed on 4th September for 14 nights. We have already uploaded videos from La Coruna, Valencia and Toulon, just Barcelona and Cadiz to go - it was amazing and we want to go back !!! Thank you for watching ❤️

Did you get much noise from below? My wife is not a good sleeper?

Thanks for watching. There was some noise from the Live Lounge but it was worse late afternoon when they were rehearsing in an empty venue. Occasionally we heard a bit of bass late on but once the band stopped and the DJ took over with recorded music, we didn’t hear much at all. We have booked another aft cabin on her for October but have gone a deck up - we loved the aft so much that we have re-located from midship.

We looking at booking this cabin next year for the med how was it and did you have a good view from the balcony thanks also it looks a bigger balcony than the others on the side

Thanks for watching. The view from the balcony was fabulous, we have just returned from another cruise on Britannia where we also had an aft balcony. The only negative I can think of is there is a bit of noise from the Live Lounge but we only really noticed this in the late afternoon which we think was because of the band rehearsing in an empty venue. That said, we were never in the cabin during the evenings so can’t comment what it might be like then.

Hi was there an issue with soot on the balcony I saw older reviews that state it as an issue thsnks

We were expecting some after reading some comments in the Facebook groups but never saw any - it may have something to do with wind direction and if so, we were obviously lucky. Would definitely book this cabin again, the views were incredible and the slightly larger balcony was a real bonus 😀
