P&O Comedy Cruise 3 - Embarkation Day on the P&O Pacific Encounter Comedy Short Cruise

The short comedy cruises have now become our 'go to' long weekend break. on the comedy cruise you get pretty much everything you get on a longer cruise but in just 3 nights.

Just got off Encounter after an Amazung Tribute to the King Tribute Cruise

We were on the same cruise, we checked in at 1230 and it was so busy, big line ups but they moved us through quickly. I agree about the app, I gave up it was so frustrating, friends of ours paid for the internet package but had the same problems.

Are Sophie and the singer with the funny pink hair still on the shop - they are both fantastic.

Sadly they are not. Not sure where Sophie is at the moment but she was great.

@@robandalicruisetravel 😢. I’m not surprised about Sophie! In October she was leaving to go back home for about 4 months and she was really exhausted and missing her family - I had a feeling she wouldn’t be back. The singer with the pink hair was outstanding -I hope he is now on the Pacific Adventure as that’s our next cruise. Have you been on the Crown Princess and if so what do you think of it. We haven’t travelled on Princess before and we are going for Christmas. The Brilliance of the Seas broke down in Sydney a few days ago and has been docked in Newcastle for days - looks so pretty at night. Love your videos xx

Thanks for the comment. We are actually back from the cruise now, it was last weekend. Now to get down to thew editing :-) The sea sickness tablets are Meclizine. We should probably look to see if we can get them off the ship too but they charge $3 for 2 of them now on the ship so we haven't even bothered looking.

Are the 3 nighters worth doing?

We think they are Fiona. You get pretty much what you get in a longer cruise such as the trivia quizzes, live music, production shows and restaurants. On a 'per night' basis they probably work out a little more but for us who are still working, we get to have a long weekend away and only have to use 1 day of leave from work. Admittedly we have to get off early on return day and then go straight to work but it does mean that we can get a few in each year without using too much leave. One thing we do though is to book a future cruise on the ship - pay $100 each deposit and then get $100 each back off your bill on the cruise you are already on. This time we booked for the country cruise in November at $40 per person and got $100 each back so that is costing $380 each. I looked today and the cheapest cabins for that are currently over $500 each. Sorry for the long reply but we do really like the 3 nighters for long weekend getaways.
