Thanks for watching. It was our first time there so we were a bit disappointed with the weather but it was the only time we saw rain which, for a 14 night cruise in early March, we felt grateful for 😀.

Interesting-very nice filming and graphics. Looks like you had rough seas on your first sea day. American here-need to figure out how I can try P&O! Couldn’t spend 2 weeks in an inside cabin, though. Why do so many people sit around the Atrium? Have never seen a stage and theater seating like around the pool in the Sky Dome. Is this the only theater?

Thank you for watching and pleased you enjoyed it. The Atrium is always busy when the weather is not so great outside and on Iona the windows span 3 decks so it makes for a very light and airy space with an excellent coffee bar. There is a lot of atrium entertainment, pianists, table magicians and singers plus the aerial artists regularly practice at one of the outer edges by the high windows. The Skydome is not the theatre, it’s an all purpose area, daytime leisure pool and indoor relaxation area, evenings are a combination of aerial shows (footage of these on later videos in the series) and musical entertainment although the acoustics for this are not brilliant, quite a lot of echo because of all the glass. There is a considerable difference in price between inside and balcony cabin on P&O and although we regularly book balcony cabins, we spend very little time in our cabin and at £53 ($65) per night this was a good choice for us 😀
