I thought I was crazy when I saw this, I even went to read books about it. when dP > 0 if dV > 0 then Vref = Vold + duty cycle else Vref = Vold - duty cycle. when dP < 0 if dV > 0 then Vref = Vold - duty cycle else Vref = Vold + duty cycle. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you

is it not possible to only focus on the current? The current drained can be lower or higher than the current at mpp. Then we just have to 2 if loops in which we check whether the current drained is lower or higher thant the current at mpp, and we adjust the duty cycle accoding to...

sir, at 1000 irradiation, power maintains constant but when irradiation changes to lower than 1000, power keep n deceasing. kindly reply sir.

Yes, if the irradtion decreases then the power input to the panel decreases hence the power output decreases

2:04 duty cycle must increase. (I think you misread it and said decrease)

If I change the deltaD value to some other value (say 0.001) then duty cycle goes negative.. why so?

It should never be -ve, I suggest you to check your model again

Well explained! I wondered to ask if you have done simulation of P&O for series-parallel combination of PVs in MATLAB. There we sometimes have a problem of algebraic loop error while connecting PVs in series-parallel combination specially with large number of PV modules. If you could have the answer for that and make a video a on that, I hope it'll be of great help to many people.

Hey Zakir, hope you're doing well. In the previous video we show configuration of the PV panel block on simulink while doing mppt, you have to uncheck the algebraic look check box
