No word of a lie, this inaugural Pride Cruise was the most incredible and cathartic holiday experience I've ever had. To be surrounded by my fellow rainbow family in a non judgemental and fully inclusive space has been nothing short of extraordinary.
However, this was not just a cruise for the rainbow family but it was a for all the allies and for all who believe in equality and community.
Not only was this our first pride cruise, it was our first cruise ever. I can assure you, it will not be our last. In fact, we will be booking the Brisbane cruise for next year!

is the entire ship part of the gay cruise? is this suitable for single guys? or just couples and friends?

The entire cruise was specifically marketed towards this Pride theme. However, there were members of the public who did not identify as LGBTIQ+. They were all contacted by P&O and informed of the theme and given the choice to receive a refund or change to an alternative cruise. Most of the people we met on the cruise were single but also met many couples and families. It's a cruise for all.

Nick, I'm straight and single (got a kid who identifies). This cruise was absolutley fabulous. Went with my kid and three other single, straight female friends and had the best bloody time EVER!! It is a cruise that provides a safe and welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and if you can be an ally, you are more than welcome!
