a child prodigy!! at age 14. very distinctive character in her technique. and those reverse note bends are very moving. I wish I could play my Pipa 1/4 as good as she plays the Pipa. XieXie!! :)

I don't know why anyone else hasn't commented on Yu Yuan Chun's piece. I'm no expert on the pipa, but I find this pretty smokin'. I swear she could be at home in the best of the bluegrass bands as well (it just seems to give me that sort of feeling). Please bring us some more Yu Yuan Chun or if I am not reading it correctly (I mean, is that the composer or the performer) bring some more of this performer, and composer too - why not.
