That is called a pattern of behavior that can be looked at and studied. Which it has, yet on several occasions destiny has used his relationship as an example of success. Yet it failed as predicted by history of the pattern of behavior displayed. Which means he would have to know the divorce isn’t due to the nature of the relationship which isn’t intellectually honest. All relationships that fail do so in accordance with the state and condition it operates in. The argument here isn’t that it’s direct evidence that he’d be happier in a closed relationship necessarily but rather that this open one was statistically doomed from the start.

The whole thing about contraceptives having a 1% failure rate is a bad stat. It doesn’t take into account user error. It assumes the condoms are being used properly and without error. Most casual sex involves alcohol or drugs which should raise the error rate considerably and it doesn’t take into account old or damaged condoms, condoms falling off, ill fitting condoms. My first marriage ended because I didn't want to meet my first husbands standards of what my body should look like because of the porn he watched. My friends first marriage ended because he flat out told her, "A womans naked body alone doesn't do it for me anymore."
