History first interpreted as Hindu period/Muslim period/british period by british scholars under agenda of divide and rule. Then after first census they deliberately over emphasised on Islamic victory and atrocities bye Muslim rulers on Hindus thereby glorified Islamic invasion over India and Hindus. At same time they glorified India’s ancient past as Hindu rule, and over emphasised on destruction of India’s glorious history and culture in hands of Muslim rule thereby promoted enmity and deepen the rift between classes. Later on in 20th century they over emphasised on atrocities made on lower casts by upper casts and thereby attempted to divide lower casts from Hinduism bye citing and over emphasising very few examples of discrimination in past literature. This was typical divide and rule policy. History of entire world almost all regions is full of atrocities on one class over another class. That doesn’t mean that we keep animosity against our own fellow Indian citizen. This is exactly the same foolishness which was there among Rajput rulers against each other during mediaeval period. Hence there is no need of unnecessarily over emphasising negative events of past as this does not bring any benefit to today’s society and instead deepens the rift of hatred between communities which was once used as tool bye foreign rulers as their political expediency and this is totally against the idea ofek bharat shresth bharat and satya mev jayte, the RSS Home ideology. Can’t understand why we don’t learn to be unite in holistic way from history. History teaches only one lesson those people who adopted futuristic approach, get united and adopted scientific temper and approach, ruled the world. But we are only learning to be past oriented, disunited unscientific temper. The nationalism without inclusivity of all classes or alienating one class under Hindu unity is not true nationalism but khokhlapan /Pseudo nationalism/anti-nationalism like pseudo secularism. As Britishers interpreted history with divide rule, some people are misinterpreting history Ultimately this is also like divide and rule. Ultimately it’s nation and society who suffers. Solution: history should be taught with perspective of present and future societal needs and not on basis of political need of some political parties as this would be like falling prey to international conspiracy of weakening our own nation and unity.
