@@EricSandwich yup, welcome to Chiak/Chiaque/Shiaq (there is no official way to spell the name of the creole, at least as of when i graduated HS in 2010). We very often take english verbs and simply conjugate them into french. "Im gonna go *shopping* at the mall" --> "j'va *shopper* au mall" we also take parts of english slang and just incorporate it wholesale but with appropriate grammar "cut it out god dammit, you're pissing me off" --> "Arrête maûdit, tu m'piss off"

J'ai entendu la toune a radio une fois.....la première minute je trouvais que c'était horrible, pi je me suis mis a écouter et par la fin je chantais along à tue-tête. En arrivant à la maison j'ai fait des recherches et j'ai commencé à écouter toutes ses chansons une par une et d'en parler à tous mes amis. Cette touen est rendue un classique.
