Verse 1 This is my Necklace from heaven, I want to show it off to everyone, This beautiful Necklace is free for everyone, it's worth dying for here on Earth.. Chorus, Young Lady stand up in front of everyone and show off the Necklace, The Necklace can last forever, (remember Necklace is usually made by flowers, so it could rot as it gets old but particular Kahoa last forever). No one can take this Necklace off from you, ( If you are Tongan you will understand Hu'i and tatala. it basically means that anyone higher then you in ranking, like Fahu or Royal, can take the Necklace off you) or even the beautiful things of this world can't take it off from you. Verse 2 I stopped and heard a sound, so started looking around for where this sound came from, It came from plenty Beautiful Doves it was singing to me and I was at peace. A Traditional Tongan song is always indirect, the song always has a deeper meaning. I was blessed to ask my Father Rev. Sinipata Toefoki what is the deep meaning to this song and I'm glad to share it with everyone. When Sinipata was 17 years of age he was blessed to be taught by some of the great Punake's of Mu'a. There was a conflict between all the Punake's in Mu'a because of people wanted their children to be in the spotlight of the Lakalaka. These 3 Punake's, I will not mention their names for safety reasons, had asked my Grandpa Toefoki, who was the Head teacher at Mu'a local school to give them his son Sinipata to teach the secrets of the Faiva of Mu'a because they were disappointed of Local people . Toefoki had agreed and these 3 Punake had passed on the knowledge to my Father Sinipata. A while later a Prophet Senituli Koloi who was the Reverend of Mu'a at the time had told Sinipata that he has a message from God that Sinipata is going to take the kato kakala of Mu'a and win People for the Kingdom of God. When My father became a Punake he was still young and a lot of the people doubted him because of his young age. He then wrote and choreographed this song Kahoa. Necklace/Kahoa = Jesus Young Lady/ Ta'ahine = Jesus bride the Church Dove/Lupe = Holy Spirit Reverend Sinipata main purpose of his Faiva was to Glorify God and even though he was young he knew that his calling was to spread the Gospel through Faiva. Verse 1 - Jesus is our savior for the world and he has given me a New Life. Chorus - Church, I will dedicate my life whether life or death to spread the Good news of our lord Jesus Christ. Verse 2 - Holy Spirit is my Helper and Comforter as I spread the Gospel.
