P0016 Gen 2 Prius Timing Chain Overview and Tips

I replaced timing chain on my Gen 2 Prius with 330k miles. In this video I give an overview of the process, as well as give some comments on the most difficult issues I ran into.

Thank you so much you saved my ass/ I m in the process of replacing the head gasket and i reached this point only to find out that my timing chain is not on its marks! i got so worried how the heck i’m going to figure this out but ill keep turning the engine over n over till it matches!

Ive got a 2005 prius service manual but cant seem to find instructions on it? I've been to 3 garages and none have gotten back to me. I think they're scared to work on a hybrid. I might have to do it myself. Can i ask how many hours did it take you?

Steve,so in this vvt sprocket,before you tight the screws in to the cam,is not necessarily to do the steps that normally you have to do in order toyotas?. Thanks in advance for your response.

Steve, when you installed the camshaft gear did you turn all the way clockwise and install the chain or the other way around? I got a low mileage engine and I'm replacing all the timing parts and gaskets.

You have no idea how many rotations you have to make before you'll see those marks line up again
