There is a problem with the shia's point. Essentially asking for a favour from Ali RA because he is "close" to Allah SWT suggests that the mercy of Allah SWT is limited and that it can be enhanced IF you go via Ali RA. This in itself is a form of shirk and suggests a lack of understanding and appreciation of the mercy of Allah SWT. It is literally saying that if you go to a human being (albiet one that Allah is pleased with), then you have more chance of being forgiven or a dua being answered. Could that forgiveness or dua been accepted had you gone straight to Allah SWT? Of course as there is absolutely no limit to the capabilities of Allah SWT. Therefore, choosing to ask someone else for help/favour is limiting and even insulting the uncapped level of blessings that Allah SWT can give to any of his creation.

مشكلة اغلب الشيعة انهم متمسكين بتعاليم ما تقوله الحوزات بعيدين عن القرآن كذلك المسيحيين متمسكين بما تقوله الكنيسة بعيدين عن ما هو في الكتاب المقدس . وهنا تكمن المشكلة حيت ان التاويلات تعلم من الكنيسة و على رئسها (المعصوم البابا) في زعم المسيحيين . كذلك الشيعة ليس لديهم السنة الصحيحة و ياخدون بالروايات (الائمة المعصومين ) عن طريق تقليدهم للمراجع وهنا وجه التشابه في العقيدة حيت اصبح كلاهما يجعل من بشر واسطة من اجل تقريبهم الى الله وقبول الدعاء و الدعاء و الاستعانة عبادة كما هو مذكور في كتاب الله هذا الغلو في البشر جعلهم يتشابهون في طقوسهم و رسوماتهم وتماثيلهم لعلي و للمسيح في الحوزات و الكنائس كذلك وجه التشابه في جعل من قتل الحسين عقيدة رضي الله عنه كذلك جعل عقيدة من صلب المسيح عليه السلام وقتله كما يزعم المسيحيون هذا الغلو جعل كلاهما ينحرف عن الاخلاص في عبادة الله عز و جل، يزعم المسيحيين ان لله شريك ، وزعموا صراحة ان المسيح نفسه هو الله استغفر الله اما الشيعة فزعموا ان علي و الائمة معصومون و انهم شفعاء و يقربون الى الله يدعونهم كوسطاء بل ادعى بعضهم انهم يلبون الدعاء استغفر الله العظيم و الله يقول عن كفار قريش : {وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ } أي: يتولونهم بعبادتهم ودعائهم، [معتذرين] عن أنفسهم وقائلين: { مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَى } أي: لترفع حوائجنا للّه، وتشفع لنا عنده، وإلا، فنحن نعلم أنها، لا تخلق، ولا ترزق، ولا تملك من الأمر شيئا. أي: فهؤلاء، قد تركوا ما أمر اللّه به من الإخلاص، وتجرأوا على أعظم المحرمات، وهو الشرك، وقاسوا الذي ليس كمثله شيء، الملك العظيم، بالملوك، وزعموا بعقولهم الفاسدة ورأيهم السقيم، أن الملوك كما أنه لا يوصل إليهم إلا بوجهاء، وشفعاء، ووزراء يرفعون إليهم حوائج رعاياهم، ويستعطفونهم عليهم، ويمهدون لهم الأمر في ذلك، أن اللّه تعالى كذلك. الله يقول : {وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ} {وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ} ( وقال ربكم ادعوني أستجب لكم ) أي : اعبدوني دون غيري أجبكم وأثبكم وأغفر لكم ، فلما عبر عن العبادة بالدعاء جعل الإنابة استجابة عربى - التفسير الميسر : وقال ربكم- أيها العباد-: ادعوني وحدي وخصُّوني بالعبادة أستجب لكم، إن الذين يتكبرون عن إفرادي بالعبودية والألوهية، سيدخلون جهنم صاغرين حقيرين. فالدعاء يطلق على سؤال العبد من الله حاجته وهو ظاهر معناه في اللغة ، ويطلق على عبادة الله على طريق الكناية لأن العبادة لا تخلو من دُعاء المعبود بنداءِ تعظيمه والتضرع إليه ، ويراد بالعبادة في اصطلاح القرآن إفراد الله بالعبادة ، أي الاعتراف بوحدانيته . قال تعالى {هُوَ الْحَيُّ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ ۗ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} السعدي: { لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ } أي: لا معبود بحق، إلا وجهه الكريم. { فَادْعُوهُ } وهذا شامل لدعاء العبادة، ودعاء المسألة { مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ } أي: اقصدوا بكل عبادة ودعاء وعمل، وجه الله تعالى، فإن الإخلاص، هو المأمور به كما قال تعالى: { وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ }. *** يا رب ، عجبت لمن عرفك كيف يرجو أحدا غيرك ! يا رب ، عجبت لمن عرفك كيف يطلب حوائجه إلى أحد غيرك ! ،يا رب ، عجبت لمن عرفك كيف يتعرض لشيء من سخطك يرضي غيرك !!

It is acceptable to ask a pious person to make dua for you. If that person makes dua directly to Allah for you then it is fine. However making dua through someone is not acceptable.

Calling or invoking anyone in absence or Ghaib except Allah is pure and definate shirk (polytheism). The whole purpose of sending Prophet Muhammad PBUM was to declare the pure and total Monotheism and to prevent polytheism nothing else, the rest doesn't matter at all. Monotheism is the weakest point of Shiites they can not defend theirselves in the day of Judgment with these beliefs. They must rectify their beliefs. Unfortunately, their love for Ahl AlBayt will not benefit them against polytheism.

Not correct. There is a different in being special,important and glorified in to being gods. The Sahaba are special, the 4 Caliphs are even more special and Ali is one of them. Ahl Bayt is also special and it includes the wives of the Prophet ﷺ as well. Allah already tells us to follow the Sahaba and He has granted them Jannah. We also know they transmitted the religion to the next generation and they are closest and the most knowledgable about the religion. The Sahaba all together are important for us, but the shia made 2 of them in to gods,accpted few as legit and called everyone else disbelievers including the wives of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr,Umar and Uthman رضي الله عنهم.

Calling for help for someone that is alive, physically is fine but, to call someone who is dead is forbidden - which Shamsi explained. Let’s apply the logic that Shia’s use to say Ali (RA) is a shuhadaah and therefore he “is Alive”. The quraysh were also calling upon angels, who by the same logic are “Alive” and Allah (SW) still called them disbelievers - therefore your argument is flawed, and what Shamsi has stated is what is apparent and from the truth. Lastly your point about “Wahabi” - Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (RahemuAllah) was a pious man that called against people of Bida’h for their falsehood and was on a mission to preserve the deen of Allah(SW). If you ask me, he’s better than all the Shia shayuukh combined.
