Correct me if I'm wrong but a step over is when you actually go over the ball. Maybe I've been doing them wrong for the 16 years I've played. His crossovers or step overs or whatever you want to call them were questionable.
@nemofatality11439 жыл бұрын
its not about doing the actual step over, its about the foot/body movement. I coach youth select for Fc Dallas and 99% of the step over these kids do are incorrect. Anyone can swing a leg around a ball and call it a step over, but doing it properly first without a ball is key to understanding body shape and athletic position.

I speed train with my kiddo. It has nothing to do with taking the fun out of the game. My kid can play with some kids and have fun. But he also likes the idea of being faster (what kid doesn't?), and he speed trains. Sure he hates it sometimes (I hate going to the gym too, but I know I HAVE to if I want the desired results). So he's already understanding that if he wants something (be faster) then he has to work for it. It's good for his athleticism and for his work ethic :)

Football players need the fundamentals, I would advise athletic training, the arm movement of a football player is a vital component to improve the players posture on the ball, and enhance a better touch awareness off and on the ball.

Very good! By the way, my kid ( 17 y) plays soccer here in Switzerland, but he would like to get a 100% scholarship in USA to study in the university and play soccer. Anyone of you can show me a way to accomplish this? Best regards for you all !!!
