P3 CARS VENT GAUGE INSTALL & TESTING // BMW F-SERIES

This P3 Gauge is awesome! The quality of everything in the box exceeded my expectations and so did the tremendous functionality of this compact display. The installation of the P3 gauges BMW F30/F80/FX0 vent gauge is straight forward and can easily be done with minimal to no tools in about 15 minutes (depending on which wiring method you choose). Overall, a very well designed performance gauging system that I would highly recommend checking out!

Dont you think its probably better to hardwire so the mechanic/shop always has access to the OBD port? I think im probably gonna go this route as well. Also what's the purpose of the analog boost sensor? Do I need this if I have Dinantronic Sport tune? I wan't to be able to get an accurate reading of the boost the car is putting out. Does the included V3 boost sensor not do this if I have the Dinan plugged in?

Wow it’s great it jumpers on the obd I saw another Review they had it plugged in the obd and looks stupid. I love the OEM look. The wiring looks tricky though

The wire taps work well! Especially in tight places you don't want to solder. You can find them on Amazon or the hardware store

If you just do the packaging that has the obd2 connected 24/7 couldn’t you just disconnect it whenever you need it again and then plug it back in ? Or does that mess it up ?

Yes, P3 offers two colors: this "BMW Orange" or the bright white. This is an option you must select during purchase.
