I think it's kinda lovely how caricatures usually poke gentle fun at people's facial features, and TSWGO is using them to bring out the best features of these kids.

This was such a beautiful video. I never knew Esther while she was alive, but I have gotten to know her through John, TSWGO and her book. It's so wonderful that her memory is woven through all of the connections she has made and helped other make. She ignited her star, and nerdfighteria is so honored to keep it burning bright. Rest in Awesome Esther, we love you SO much. And thank you to her lovely parents and everyone at the organization for all of your incredible work!

Esther's story has impacted my life incredibly, particularly recently due to a whole heap of mental and physical health issues that have been thrown at me. I can honestly say her story has made me a better person. As someone who lost a best friend and a close family friend to cancer, this means so so much to me.

I come here for inspiration for my P4A video this year. I've chosen TSWGO not just because Esther was a Nerdfighter, but because of the work you guys do as a whole. My bestfriend Joseph was diagnosed with brain cancer in early 2007, he struggled for about a year and got "better". That was until August 2009 when he got really really bad again, I remember sitting by his side telling him it was going to be ok. Unfortunately he ended up passing in January of the next year. What you do as a community is absolutely fantastic and watching you do all these wonderful things has really helped me throughout the years. Every Esther day I drive two hours out and bring flowers to his grave. Thank you personally, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me strength to go on and live my life the way he would've wanted and as I'm sure Esther would've wanted you to do the same.
@loriearl81099 жыл бұрын
+Hunter Holder Thank you for sharing, and we grieve with you over Joseph. I'm so sorry for the loss of his friendship, and most of all, his presence. Esther must be so happy to know that her words and life have given you comfort, hope, and a way through the darkness. Yay--we love Esther Day too!
