Just keep in mind. When you are buying something, nothing comes for free with it. Nothing. Otherwise it wouldn't come with the purchase! Now what does it actually cost to set it up and run? First comes the electrical standard. We dont use these things in europe anymore, but it says 5000w AVR is required. I assume it is needed to keep something something in the machine from having problems. Also my assumption that there wont be any liability if it is operated without one. Thats round 5-7000 pesos. Weirdly Philippines shops pages were first to come up when i searched for it. We used to have these when the really old kinescope television needed stable voltage or the picture would blurr out. Second question to ask right there is how much does the ingredients cost and how much product it makes. The seller of the machine will be most likely the one selling the ingredients in the future. Unless you can source these yourself it will be one of the biggest expenses of running it. Nice returning customer for the machine seller. Thats part of their business plan so thats circle of life. Cam you use your owm sourced ingredients? One would assume unless theres something specific about it in the papers Third, the price on the label is without VAT. Thats the price for registered businesses (who have VAT registration. If the buyer is not a business (just a regular breathing and hoping human being), the price will be +VAT. +12%? Same with all the ingredients. Becoming a registed business comes with some stuff around here. Like insurance, taxes and regular tax declarations. Fourth: the machine wont run with endless speed. Like when you set it up near a school. Students dont have all the time in the world. Around here brakes are 10 minutes. How many cones can you pump out in that time? Will it still have icecream after 35 cones or would it need 10 minutes cooling after a short run? No idea, ask questions. Text on the flyer says 500 cones per 8 hour day. Looks like a decent number but what does it make in one minute? 10 minutes? Whats the limits and what happens after it? If the answer is 10 cones per 10 minutes, than thats the limit you can serve in a school area during recess. One way or another, run the numbers and ask questions before putting down any money. 89000 Philippines pesos may not be big money around here but it is sold as an investment. For people who may not have that money but can sink all theisnsavings in it and borrow some. You either know what the numbers mean or don't go borrowing willy nilly.

Excellent advise I owned Ice Cream shops in America the cheapest commercial machines I could buy were 4000$-8000$us Taylor soft serve machines best on the planet they have reversed heat for sleep mode when closed and product stayed good for 6 days so really no waste. The 50-100peso machines you get here no way stay away from them they junk trust me I looked into them was ready to open shops here in PH short of spending 100kUS getting good equipment sent from US to do it I wasn’t going to take that risk. All you have to do is look at Jollibee’s and Mc Donald’s here in Philippines you’ll see 10kUS Taylor machines in them they’re is a reason for that you buy these cheap built machines you’ll go broke from waste daily and like you said will never keep up either demand from these cheap table top family ice cream machines is what they are no where near commercial volume machines.

So nice to see an available opportunity for Filipinos to get a head. YES. great investment as we all know how Filipinos love ice cream, but has for so long been to them, a luxury beyond affordability. This makes it affordable and cheap to the netizens of even the poorer Barangays. I think that an opportunity like this is wonderful. Thank you VPP for showing us all this great idea.
