Well we gotta compare launch vs launch because the MW19 we know today is muchhh better than MW19 at launch. And honestly its better than MW2 as of right now. Better guns, more maps, faster ads most of the time, quicker movement, MUCH better UI. It wins in most departments but it took em a couple years to get here. COD always gives us a half assed launch and we just continue to play cuz its new and has the most hype around it.

@@BMWF30-416 ehh, gunplay was more satisfying from the start in mw19, and the weapons added aren’t really a good addition. The game would have been better off without asval, amax, cx-9, some are ok but it’s not like raal and crossbow made it a better game. Mw19 at launch was way more fun than mw2. I get that some might like it and great for them, I don’t hate it, but the arcady feeling of mw19 wins every time for me, and unless they radically change the core experience, no amount of maps, weapons, game modes and so on is gonna change it. Only thing that I could realistically see change is faster ads times. I still feel like many gunfights, especially at mid+ range are luck based with how recoil behaves. It’s way harder to take more enemies down at a time, it feels like the game pushes for 1kd very aggressively, which might be good for my stats lol, I wasn’t a consistently good player on mw19. But I always played with really really good players so lobbies were always cracked for me, and the times I was focused and doing well were really satisfying. Let alone if I was playing by myself. Now I dunno, it’s all very meh, lower ttk with worse movement in bigger maps is a marked sentinel buff, and on top of that you have weapons that shoot wherever especially if you want to get good handling, so even worse for rushing. Every time I play all day and go back to mw19 I have so much more fun, and it sucks cause I did really want to like mw2.

@@sksz33 Hey man, I whole heartedly agree with many of your points. I got really good at MW19 and love that game. It’s a top 5 COD for me and I’ve played every cod since the original MW2. I disagree on the point of the Amax and cx-9, since they’re really satisfying weapons to play with. Overall, I agree that MW2 is a disappointment. MW19 is just a significantly better game.

@@BMWF30-416 I felt like I wrote alot and didn’t expand, but I actually kinda agree with you, they’re satisfying to use in a vacuum. The asval was my favourite weapon for a while when it came out, looks amazing, stealthy and all. Problem is, the more I started playing cyber and search, the more I realised and was told how op they were. And it’s a shame cause it basically lowers the ttk of the game, you’ve got one using it first round, then everybody starts understandably, and you’re basically playing hardcore. If you play respawn it’s not as much of an issue really. Amax is even worse than asval tbh, more consistent and better for ammo preservation. Cx-9 is not as bad, and so much fun for flicks on mkb. So yeah, my point was that weapons that feel and look good but broke balancing, weren’t a factor in making mw19 an all around better game, lower the damage and it would have been perfect but as it stands it’s not something that to me sets it apart from launch. I get what you mean tho, they feel and look nice. If mw2 gets additional comparable weapons, it’s not gonna make it a significantly better game, that was kinda the point.

@@oddone3153 compared to the og mw2 with the model 1887s, one man army noob tubes, wasteland, ridiculous launcher explosion damage and radius, the acr, actual last stand, painkillers, out of the map glitches, the ump45 suppressed, danger close, harriers on the enemy team every match you join, killstreak kills counting towards more killstreaks, commando pro lunge, and Many many more. Mw2 had all of these problems and was still one of if not the best cod of all time. Every cods got it's problems.
