Its not poorly lit. unfortunately, the shoot was taken on a rainy day, that too in the evening. Only the first few minutes was taken in the evening. Most of the part was covered at 7 pm. So..!

It is not the lighting may be.. I think when you mix extreme olden style with extreme modern blend, it somehow brings out a gothic effect.. exactly it gives that Italian horror movie effect
