It was nice to have a video from you again. I've been a subscriber for about 5 years now and always looked forward to your videos. You were one of the ones who inspired me this year to start my own KZbin channel, which is almost a year old now. Sorry about the drought year for you - here in the western part of the state we made out pretty good with rain and had a warm, dry fall for harvest. I look forward to your next videos and hope that you'll be able to move on to another farming opportunity with when these 2 years are up.

Good to see your video, have watched your channel for several years now and always enjoyed your comments. Farmers always look forward to the next year after the harvest is completed and are optimistic for a better season ahead. With all the increased costs etc., the numbers have gotten larger and larger which certainly adds to the stress factor. I am confident that you will be successful in whatever path you choose. Best of luck going forward!

Glad to see a video again bud, watching it a little late but I used to watch your videos a lot, I’m only 19 and grew up on both my grandparents small farms in NC and I want to farm, might have finally convinced pawpaw to maybe let me plant some of my own corn this year! Thanks for the inspiration and long live the small American farmer and Case IH

Greetings, I just stumbled across your site and look forward to watching all your videos. I find it very interesting to see and learn how other farmers grow their crops I had to laugh at your closing so much so that my wife asked what I found so amusing....a farmers famous last words “wait till next year!” For the last 4 years I’ve said it’s the last, time to retire and well you know how that goes. I have no heirs and cranberries don’t allow for anything but wetlands so I’ll let you know in a couple of months :)

It was good to see an update for you. Always enjoy getting insight into what you and other operators are experiencing, crop, weather, machinery issue wise. 2022 is on its last legs, blizzard outside the door. But I'm optimistic, at least the days will start getting longer and spring time will be here before we know it. Merry Christmas, and a happy new year to you and yours.

Was just thinking today I hadn't seen something from you in a while. Glad to hear from you again! My grandpa (a NC tobacco farmer) always said "a dry year will scare you and a wet year will sink you."

Thanks, I did hear that before. So true

I have always enjoyed your videos. I hope it all works out for you. Do you plan to keep farming there or somewhere else after the lease it up?
@PAFarms Жыл бұрын
Farming should continue, just a different location and much different circumstances. Thanks

Good to hear you are going to keep it going Typical VW/Audi with the lights on the dash. I have a couple of them. Finicky things. Also have some IH/Farmalls I make some hay with. Keep plowing ahead.

Hello - just looking for some guidance. I have a 1988 Case 385 that is now suffering clutch issues - as in not engaging when pressed, so the tractor keeps on going. Recently started to experience grinding going from neutral to fwd/rev, but shifting from fwd to rev or visa versa was smooth. I swapped out HD oil and filter just to be safe, but the next day experienced this problem. Any thoughts?
@PAFarms Жыл бұрын
Seems like the clutch could be bad. Not sure without driving it though
@robertmorrow4741 Жыл бұрын
@@PAFarms Thx v much for replying - I'm in full 'splitting the tractor' avoidance, but looks like that's the path I'm on.

Good day from Ontario. Too bad the way things went, I remember a pig farmer up here saying if I wanted a steady income I work in town. Every one of Mennonite neighbours with 100 ac farms has shop on it Inflation is crazy up here. 116 ac farm sold for $3,300,000 . can't be done no more. Good luck & we will later.

U keep showing haying video clips in this video. Are U missing doing hay?
@PAFarms Жыл бұрын
Not at all, viewers seem to like the hay videos. I was just thinking today about the time my hay got rained on 3 times and I ended up scrapping it🤦🏻♂️
