Cool video. Lots of bucks and no buck tags. Isn't that how it usually goes lol. Good problem to have though. Stay safe and God bless

Looks exactly like my hunts when I took the flintlock out for early muzzleloader this year. Buck after buck lol. And then when I’d finally find some doe, little bucks started chasing them around and scattered them

We will be back out for late flintlock too. One of our favorite times to hunt the game lands at our camp! Good luck to you! The early inline is a fun season to hunt as well. We use it to scout for archery and rifle etc!

Nice area.. reminds me of my tree stand! I'll see three bucks for every doe! When I harvest one.. there's always been a pick between two or three of them walking together! Usually the biggest one is leading the way ❤ Central Pennsylvania mountain hunting!

For the sake of conservation, we need GPS coordinates and for safety sake, we'll check your tree stand straps! LOL
@blackie1of4Ай бұрын
@thepennsylvaniahunter2706 well.. I've hunted there since 1982.. we'd go with my father my grandfather uncle's cousins brothers and friends.. my pap and uncles have hunted there since the 50's! This year they decided to post it! For legality reasons we're told.. such a shame! We still have the opposite side of the road though.. that's state game lands! Hopefully they purchase the 400 acres and make it game lands! This piece of property is owned by the county waste department.. and the property runs up to state game lands! So it's been a honey hole for a very long time! Hopefully I'll have success on the other side of the road.. my brothers have trail cameras and the same bucks patrol both sides! There's a plus :)

Where are you hunting at I will help you thin out the buck lol. Never thought I would say that but after watching the video it seems appropriate

Did you use your antlered tags in archery season?
@anthonymontresor7032Ай бұрын
Yea we actually have those videos on our channel as well. We posted them just before the bear camp video. Dad and I were very blessed and lucky to both get bucks in archery this year!

Usually for us too. After the first day and pressure, it turned into a desert!
@sdknorr99506Ай бұрын
Bait pile nearby? This doesn’t happen in Pennsylvania where I’m at.
@thepennsylvaniahunter2706Ай бұрын
There is no bait pile. Just a good day in the woods. Lots of acorns and corn in the area this year.

Must be private land or posted,hunted 3D opening weekend didn't see a thing, except a lot of tracks and rubs.
@anthonymontresor7032Ай бұрын
Nope State Game lands.
@thepennsylvaniahunter2706Ай бұрын
It's actually public. Just the right area this year with crop rotation. A beef cattle farm also planted some corn and acorns through the roof this year.

Must be private land. Sure can't be game land.
@anthonymontresor7032Ай бұрын
State game lands in 2f been hunting it for 15 plus years. Tons of scouting and figuring out the area. This is also a good pressure area for the first day. Surrounding people hunting fields on private push them all into gamelands.

I guess I can believe that Tony. I hunt in 4c area and the deer population is pretty slim. Most deer I see are on private land. I’ve been hunting for 58 years in Pa. and have seen a drastic decrease in the deer population. Glad you have the opportunity to see deer like that where you are. Thanks for the info and good luck hunting.
@anthonymontresor7032Ай бұрын
Much respect for 58 years! That is awesome! You have a camp youre a part of? Yes we go through dry spells and low numbers too. This one was right up there as just a great day being out with my father cause we certainly weren't expecting it! Certainly an opening morning to remember!

Good morning Tony. I had a camp in Potter County until recently. I sold it due to no one wanting to go up and use it. My wife didn’t want me going alone because of getting older. Oh well, life goes on. I was glad to hear you hunted with your Dad. You are very fortunate to be able to make memories with him. Enjoy each moment with him. My son tried hunting when he became of age but didn’t really show interest in it. I respect that. Anyway, it was nice talking to you and again, good luck to you and your Dad and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Take care my friend.

Potter county is beautiful. What a great place to have a camp. Yes, anytime I get to go hunting with family or friends I cherish it. Whether it is successful on the hunting side or not doesn't really matter to me. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas as well and good luck the rest of the season. Enjoyed chatting!

The “ BIG EIGHT “ would barely score 115 - 120 . Hes not a big bodied deer and is most likely 3 . Just a friendly not ya gotta brush up on what is a Big Buck and what’s not . Otherwise nice video
@anthonymontresor7032Ай бұрын
I just meant he's bigger then the one in front coming in. He's not a giant but still a nice buck in my opinion. Hope you have a successful season.
@thepennsylvaniahunter2706Ай бұрын
Yeah, me and my boy get excited. The same as we did when he was 12. I've hunted the mid-west for 11 years and have seen booners on the hoof, so we know he is nothing big scoring. Just a decent buck for our area of PA.
